Privacy Notice

NAMAI is a founding national initiative, submitted to the competent national authorities, preparing the National Program for Sovereign AI Capability. This site follows the principles of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and applies data minimisation by design.

What we collect

• Registration and deposit details you volunteer: organization name and sector, contact name and role, official email, optional phone number, and the declared asset's metadata (name, type, ARL self-grade, sensitivity classification, reuse terms, short description).
• Deposits are metadata only: the site accepts no files, models, or datasets — assets are declared, not uploaded.
• A hashed connection fingerprint: for abuse prevention we store a one-way SHA-256 hash of the IP address with a secret salt. The raw address is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.

What we don't collect

No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no advertising scripts. (A single technical session cookie exists inside the private admin panel only.) Web fonts load from Google Fonts and Fontshare under their respective policies.

Why we collect it

To form the founding cohort of the National Reserve, contact registered organizations for deposit verification, produce founding metrics (organizations, deposits, ARL distribution) for the competent national authorities, and protect the site from abuse.

Where it is stored

The database is hosted inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the site's Saudi hosting provider — consistent with the data-sovereignty principle the initiative itself is built on.

Sharing and retention

Data is never sold or shared commercially. If the program is adopted and assigned to a competent national authority, founding records may transfer to it as a direct continuation of the purpose they were collected for; this page will announce any such transfer. Records are retained through the founding phase, then transferred or deleted — and you may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data by writing to info@namai.sa. We respond within a reasonable period not exceeding thirty days.
